Biosketch

Dr Yashodhara Mhatre is working as a Honorary Consultant IVF at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital since March 2015. Post her international training in Fertility, Dr Yashodhara Mhatre started her own IVF Centre before joining as Consultant at the IVF lab of Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital. Wanting to create “niche” segment she started India’s first Surrogacy Centre “SurrogacyIndia”. Primarily catering to international couples, Dr Yashodhara rose to high ranks for successfully handling high risk cases. With experience of over fifteen (15) years, she has performed more than 750 IUI, 1500 IVF/ICSI cycles, 500 donor egg cycles, and 900 Surrogacy cycles. She now takes special interest in egg freezing programs to express her solidarity for women empowerment.

Articles published by her are Sperm morphology and outcome of IUI, Singapore Medical Journal, December 1999, Contributed Chapter on Ethics & Fertility, 2006, Contributed Chapter on Treatment of Recurrent Pregnancy Loss, 2007. Release of book on Surrogacy India “The Baby Chase”. Her hobbies are Travelling, Reading, Gardening and Dancing.
